About

fake.bg

Most temp-mail services are either a half-finished open source project, an ad farm built a decade ago, or a closed SaaS with no API. fake.bg tries to serve all three real audiences: humans who need a throwaway inbox, developers who need programmatic access, and AI agents who need real email addresses they can own and act on.

The foundation is the domain portfolio: .bg domains picked up as soon as they were released, with real mail history. They aren't among the well-known disposable-mail domains that many sites block.

Beyond mail, fake.bg offers a synthetic Bulgarian identity generator and an EGN validator/generator — for testing, and for the times you'd rather not hand over your personal data.

The stack is intentionally boring where boring works: Postfix to receive, Python (FastAPI + aiosmtpd) to process, Postgres to store, Redis pub/sub to push to the browser via SSE, Next.js to render. It all runs on a self-managed ARM server in Frankfurt, Germany.

fake.bg is made by a small team based in Sofia, Bulgaria. Address: Sofia 1000, Bulgaria.
